Just a little post to say I’m still here and kicking!  Trying to get to grips with the new gig over on Appliances Online @ Home so figured I’d share my latest posts with you as well as a video (cringe)!

My first post was all around Modern Chinoiserie.  I pulled together a little moodboard as well which was a lot harder than I thought it would be, so scarce are products in this country that really portray this style but it can be done!

I also shared this recipe for Roast Chicken & Chorizo with Thyme which went down a storm in the office.  I had loads of people telling me they were going to give it a go.  It’s so easy and the combination of chorizo and cinnamon sounds bizarre but works incredibly well as a one pot meal for winter.  It was a first attempt at ‘food blogging’ so hope you like it!

Just click on any of the pictures to be taken straight to the post!

I also wanted to say a very big thank you to those who have visited and commented there.  It means so much to have your support in this new little venture.

It’s all very early days yet and I’m going to be working on to get some exposure via the AppliancesOnline.co.uk home page, incredible Facebook following and Twitter pages but it’s always a difficult one when you first start a blog no matter whether it’s a “company” blog or a personal one.  Swoon Worthy has been going for 2 1/2 years now and I have loved seeing it grow slowly through those years and meeting so many cool, creative and funny people through it.  It’s still my baby and still my first love.  I’m hoping as the new blog develops and grows, it will create it’s own little space in the blogosphere.

I am also on Twitter as @AppOnlineatHome so if you want to keep up to date with any posts, please do follow me on there if you’d like.  I’m adding people to follow all the time so please don’t hesitate to say hello.

Oh and if you want to see me on video (dear god), I’ve been getting involved with some of the other social media aspects and so joined Kate, our Google + and You Tube guru for a giveaway.  We gave away 2 American style fridge freezers which was kinda fun :)

If you skip to around 8:20 or so, I just about pissed myself laughing when the lovely Jenny picked up her son on the camera in celebration…. well, you’ll just have to check it out.  So funny!

Also?  Ignore all my silly facial expressions.  It’s so hard when you are in front of a camera and not talking – what the heck do you do with yourself??  So yeah, I look a bit of a div!  Enjoy my humiliation.
