Home or Away: Patience from White Lacquer

{I've asked 5 of my favourite, most-admired bloggers to fill in for me while I am away!  The task?  Tell me about a favourite space or place - either home or away - that you love.  I'm so excited to have some rather talented ladies here keeping Swoon Worthy ticking along while I'm gone and I know you'll love them as well!

Today is the turn of Patience from White Lacquer.  Patience has a heart of gold, a lovely family and a home filled with vintage glamour!  She's quickly become a must-read for me and that's not half because of her enthusiastic personality.  She always seems to have the best luck with thift shops so she's totally taking me at some point in the future whether she knows it or not!  ;)  She's a real sweetheart so please give her a huge welcome!}

Hey there Swoon Worthy lovers!  I'm ridiculously excited to be here...and can't help but pinch myself.  You see, Red happens to be responsible for one of my favorite blogs ever.

Anyhoooo, my name is Patience and I have a tiny little blog called White Lacquer {because I love to paint everything white, its a sickness really}.

Today I'm going to share a gorgeous hotel with you that I'm completely obsessing over in Seattle, WA.  You see, Joshy Bobby and I are getting hitched this summer in Snohomish, and I'm dying to spend our honeymoon night at the Alexis Hotel.

Take a peek:

From the exposed brick and gorgeous headboards to the sweet mix of vintage and modern pieces, I'm going gaga over this place.  I grew up for the most part in the Tacoma/Seattle area and truly love it (rain and all).  You see its ridiculously green {gorg trees/bushes/grass, you name it}.  Not to mention the bay, geez I miss living by the water.  Needless to say, we are extremely excited to tie the knot with our families and to take advantage of the spectac surroundings.

That's all for now, if you're as obsessed with weddings or planning one as I am now, feel free to stop by for wedding Wednesday!!

Thank you so much for having me, Red!!

Patience

{Oooh what a gorgeous place!! I'm so in love with the exposed brick walls and the contrast of modern with vintage style!  Can't wait to see what's in store for the wedding as Patience's inspiration pics are always dreamy...  Are you loving the contrasts in this hotel?  What's your favourite part?}
