the story behind the scent
“I spent a few years living in Wisconsin, surrounded by some of the kindest, most generous people I have ever met and the beauty of lakes at every turn. On the weekends, we’d head up to a friend’s Lakehouse to enjoy sailing and fishing during the day, and in the evenings we’d gather around the campfire.
My memories of those times are some of my happiest, laughing and chatting and enjoying a beer or two around the rising flames. The scent of woodsmoke always brings me back to the simplicity of being in nature and surrounded by friends.“
