The story behind the scent
“I spent a few years living in Wisconsin, surrounded by some of the kindest, most generous people I have ever met and the beauty of lakes at every turn. On the weekends, we’d head up to a friend’s Lakehouse to enjoy sailing and fishing during the day, and in the evenings we’d gather around the campfire.
My memories of those times are some of my happiest, laughing and chatting and enjoying a beer or two around the rising flames. The scent of woodsmoke always brings me back to the simplicity of being in nature and surrounded by friends.“
what does it smell like?
An opening of woodsy birch tar and earthy greens – eucalyptus, pine and green leaf and soon after, the deep comforting notes of incense with a hint of jasmine and violet.
Burn a little longer and the depth of wood smoke, patchouli and cedarwood come through.
The result is like a warm, roaring campfire providing light and comfort on cool summer nights.
when do i burn it?
Light when you crave the comfort and scent of an open fire when a much smaller flame is more practical.
Enjoy on your own with a cosy book as evening falls or during casual gatherings with friends, a few beers and a lot of laughter.
