We’re halfway through the year!! Oh my goodness, how does that happen? Well, it’s nearly summer and I have to say, despite starting the month with the weirdest weather (wind, snow, sleet? what!), we have had a rather good month weather-wise as it’s warmed up nicely and we’ve had a few great weekends of being able to sit out in the garden relaxing and soaking up the rays.

We had a three-day weekend recently as it was a Bank Holiday here in the UK so I did some work in the morning and then in the afternoon, we tidied up the garden and had the first BBQ of the year. It was surprisingly glorious out (excuse the phone shot but it’s not normally this lovely in Manchester on a Bank Holiday and I had to capture the moment) and everything is just so green finally! We have some big plans for that back patio so I’ll be sharing those very soon!

So as always, I just like to give a very big thank you to sites which featured me over the last month and if you want to check these out too, that would be really rather lovely.

You may recall that I did a little styling for Sainsbury’s Botanics collection last month but I also did a guest post on Sainsbury’s own blog styling their Moroccan Blue collection. You can see that here (although a lot of the images were cropped a bit strangely, c’est la vie!).

I was also featured on these sites so a big thank you to all of them!:

As per usual, I’ve been chatting about interiors for various websites over the past month or so and so I’m rounding them up once again in list format to make it easier for you to have a look when you get some time this weekend and fancy a bit of light reading! Of course, I wouldn’t expect anyone to read ALL of these (that would just be crazy talk) but if something catches your eye, then I’d love for you to have a little look. Each link opens in a new window so you can just click the ones you like the look of and go back to it later!

So that’s my roundup for the month of May! We’re actually off on holiday in June so I’ll be taking a short break from the blog. Before that, however, I’ll be doing a little summer tour of the house so stay tuned for that! What are you up to now that the weather has warmed up? Had any BBQs yet?
