Although I do get a lot of requests from various companies to review products, I only really accept the ones that first of all I like and that I think you guys might like too. Well, when The White Company asked if I wanted to try out their new lovely white ceramic candle pots, I couldn’t say no.
I do love The White Company – I mean, god, everything is so flippin’ gorgeous on their website, total eye-candy. So getting this lovely Fresh Thyme candle was a real treat.
I have to admit, it’s not a scent I would have chosen myself but as soon as I took it out of it’s pretty presentation box (perfect for a gift), the smell of thyme, lavender and eucalyptus filled the room. It reminds me of freshly cut grass. Seriously, lovely.
I always know when it’s spring in my home because I can finally buy fresh herbs for my windowsill and they don’t die on me! I used to only pot my herbs in my little silver buckets but they were starting to look a little sad and old so I swapped them out for a couple of small white plant pots I wasn’t using. I love how fresh they look with the burst of green from basil and parsley and they look lovely along with the new candle.
I burn mine in the kitchen after a meal. It fills the house with a gorgeous aroma and the ceramic pot glows softly through the white ceramic. After the candle is all finished, I’m going to get some fresh thyme and pot it alongside the basil and parsley. Lovely lovely.
I love good quality scented candles, don’t you? The candles also come in Mint which I’d love to try out. What kinds of scented candles would you recommend?
The candle was provided to me by The White Company but my review including all words and images are my own.
